“If you’ve never seen it, this show combines my love for comedic improv storytelling with acting and musical performances, so really the best of three artistic expressions! A comedy, drama and a concert all in one! She added.

She tagged along Noel Nderitu, Bien Baraza, Lisa Oduor Noah, Kendi Nkonge, Ngartia, Junior Nyong’o, Elsaphan Njora, Charity Nyambura, Karimi Rimbui, Tom Olang’o, Joe Were, Jason Runo and Newman Owor whom she said they were her ‘super talented friends to bring these stories to life, and to perform with me’.

Through the stories shared, gender issues, relationships, all came to the fore, the audiences’ delight.

“What a weekend! I am so grateful. Putting together #LifeInTheSingleLane and getting on stage is such a labor of love and I am glad people come through, over and over to see the show. Thank you to everyone who turned up, despite the rain and traffic, and the hectic night,” she Tweeted later to appreciate her lovely audience who came to support the project.

Life In The Single Lane offers an interesting and comical insight into the dating life of a single girl in Nairobi whose search for true love is punctuated by lots of funny and awkward moments.

Besides the cold, rainy and wet weather, she said, “To everyone who came and couldn’t find seating or shelter from the rain, I sincerely apologize for your experience. We had made plans for a bigger tent that would cover over 500+, but our supplier was not able to assemble entire the tent as planned.”

“As a lover of events & live performances, #LifeinTheSingleLane and everything that happens around it is deeply personal to me. I’m so overwhelmed – mostly because all who come are not just tickets, but friends and folks who trust and believe in me and what I share on that stage.”
