Uganda Airlines, flight UR 342, on Monday completed its maiden flight to Moi International Airport at the Kenyan coast of Mombasa.
The fully boarded flight with 76 passengers, took off at 11:30am and landed in Mombasa slightly after 1:40 pm a move aimed at boosting trade and tourism between Kenya and the neighboring country.

This was the seventh destination since it resumed operations on August 27 this year.

The airline is scheduled to fly to Mombasa three times a week on Monday, Friday, and Sunday.
According to the UN Commission for Trade, Uganda exported $580M worth of goods to Kenya & significantly reduced its trade deficit.
