Deepa Dosaja is the founder, and CEO of the eponymous Deepa Dosaja label, a Kenya-based fashion house that has dressed global stars, including actress Lupita Nyong’o.

Deepa Dosaja, a leading Kenyan fashion label for the past 28 years is showcasing her Spring 2020 collection at Fairmont The Norfolk in a week-long fashion exhibition dubbed Sustainable Fashion.

Her collection was recently shown during the Paris Fashion Week in September and at the hub of Africa Fashion Week held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The exhibition which begins Thursday, the 16 October, to Thursday 24 October 2019, will present exciting past and current African designs made with local fabrics and prints providing an ultimate experience for guests and fashion-lovers as they enjoy delectable cocktails at the hotel’s Cin Cin Lounge Bar.

The week-long showcase is part of Norfolk’s Art and Cocktails themed events that aim to provide a platform for different artists including photographers, sculptors, painters and photographers to showcase their works and content to the hotel’s guests.

Axel Hauser, General Manager, Fairmont The Norfolk commented: “Fashion is a great work of art and a symbol of heritage in itself. Culture and heritage are a fundamental part of the Norfolk and we always feel very proud to give a platform to our artists to display their artworks and showcase their skills.”

Throughout the week, a selection of signature cocktails by the beverage partner Beefeater London will be on offer at a 50% discount. These include; Ariana Pink Punch, Beefeater Pink & Tonic, Beefeater Gin & Tonic and Gin Mojito. Guests are also invited to sample Tatu Restaurant dining at a 15% discount throughout October. 

Fairmont the Norfolk hosts Arts and Cocktails events are meant to celebrate and inspire arts and heritage, encouraging and boosting creativity. The events provide guests with inimitable experiences as they indulge in a host of fantastic cocktails.
