Kenolkobil has been delisted from the Nairobi Securities Exchange following the acquisition of 100 percent of issued shares of the oil marketer by French energy firm Rubis Energie.

The NSE in a notice Friday said the firm will revert to a fully privately-owned status under the regulations of the Capital Markets Authority.

“Notice is hereby given on the delisting of Kenolkobil from the NSE effective 23, August 2019,” said the NSE in part.

Tax waiver given to Commercial Bank of Africa and NIC bank in their proposed mergers has been challenged in court with allegations that the law was violated.
