Kenyan online taxi-hailing firm Little has slashed its fares dubbed ‘Ksh 20 Rides’, unveiling a fresh price war among players in the market.

The taxi-hailing service Little powered by Safaricom, said that its customers will pay KSh20 per kilometer effective Tuesday, for the Basic Category.

“Effective 11th June 2019 you will now enjoy your favorite hailing service at 20 Kenya Shillings per kilometer on the Basic Category and still enjoy all the benefits that come with it,” it announced on Monday.

“However please be assured that we would be paying our Drivers full amount so that their earnings are not affected. We pay our Drivers the highest in the industry, and with that, our Drivers are eager to give you their best service.”

The taxi firm currently serves customers across Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and Tanzania.
