Artcaffé Group, a lifestyle and a social hub restaurant, plans to boost its presence in Kenya as it looks to expand with more outlets in 2019.

The only restaurant chain to be awarded the prestigious Superbrand status in East Africa says their focus on high international standards is expected to impact positively on the economy.

Sagi Vaknin, Managing Director at Artcaffé said: “We will significantly increase the number of locations in 2019, growing our position as a large employer, taxpayer, and driver of local supply chain growth with the support of Emerging Capital Partners.”

The group’s family of 1,300 dedicated and passionate staff is expected to grow at a rate of around 40 new hires per new store opening.

Vaknin spoke when they opened their 27th and 28th locations at Capital Center Mall along Mombasa road.

They feature two levels of sophisticated dining, meeting spaces, and a great outdoor cocktail bar.  The Artcaffé Capital Center and the Urban Burger.

Both locations will offer not only a great dine-in experience but will also offer home and office delivery services in the area, covering Nairobi West all the way to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Artcaffé opened its first café in 2008 and now manages 28 stores throughout Nairobi.

It also operates a sophisticated central bakery, kitchen, and logistics centre that prepares and distributes artisanal baked goods, food, and drink shipments to its restaurants daily.  The central kitchen is key to the company’s business model, enabling consistent delivery of fresh and high-quality products.
