The Kenya National Police Service has warned the public to avoid 14 Riverside Drive, Westlands as its still an active Crime Scene.

A statement shared on their official Twitter account, stated, “We wish to caution all members of the public including politicians that Dusit Hotel and the area around 14 Riverside Drive is a Crime Scene that is under an active security operation. Until it is declared safe, everyone not actively involved in the operation should avoid the area.” Reads a Tweet from National police service.

On Tuesday night, Kenya’s Interior CS Fred Matiang’i affirmed the attack at the scene as has stated by the Inspector General Joseph Boinnet that the buildings affected were secured.

” The security teams have evacuated scores of Kenyans and other nationalities from the buildings. We are now in the final stages of mopping up the area and securing evidence and documenting the consequences of the unfortunate events,” stated Matiang’i.
